MANILA, Philippines – The People's Television Network (PTV 4), the government-owned television network and SMAC Television Production, a private institution that produces mall shows, online shows and movies and manage careers specifically on social media, entered into a partnership with the media and entertainment production and teamed-up to launch a nationwide search for the next teen star via a new reality talent show on PTV 4. Billed Artista Teen Quest, the weekly competition will air on Sunday primetime starting July 14.
Isaiah Tiglao, Rayantha Leigh and Princess Ella Apon will host the one-and-a-half hour show.
On the other hand, Riva Quenery, Anton Juarez, Mateo San Juan and Justin Lee will act as juries.
The winner of the search will receive a total of P1M in prizes and in cash, 1 studio type condo unit and a P1M management contract from SMAC Talent Agency.
Contestants will have to pass pre-audition processes before they are able to perform in the show.
Admission and online auditions are open to male and female applicants, aged 13 to 19, showcasing their talent in singing, dancing and acting. Audition venues and dates are Max's Restaurant in Commenwealth Branch near St. Peter Parish on July 3; Eurotel Vivaldi Cubao on July 10; and The Oracle Hotel and Residences on July 20. Five major audition legs will also be held in key cities like Cebu, Davao, Batangas, Baguio and Metro Manila starting August.
Traveling around the Philippines to find the 13 stars of Artista Teen Quest. They will audition and have different levels as long as the top 13 remains. Contestants will be introduced in the show.
