DWLE-TV is a commercial relay television station owned by GMA Network Inc. Its studio and transmitter are located at Heritage Commercial Complex, Maharlika Hi-way, Brgy. Malvar, Santiago City, Isabela, Cagayan Valley (Region 2), Luzon, Philippines.[1][2][3]
History[]
- 1995 - GMA Channel 7 Isabela started its nationwide satellite broadcast to bring live broadcasts of Manila-source national programming via DZBB-TV. GMA's flagship TV station in Manila to viewers in Cagayan Valley Region with utilizes a new logo to correspond with the rebranded and satellite beaming rainbow in a multicolor striped based on the traditional scheme of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. with GMA in a metallic form uses a San Seriff County Gothic Extra Bold and analogeous gloominess of indigo as its fonts in the letters.
- 2007 - GMA Network launched TV-7 Isabela as a satellite station in Isabela, with the opening of its studio and transmitter is located at Heritage Commercial Complex, Maharlika Highway, Barangay Malvar, Santiago City, Isabela. And the inaguration power of 5,000 watts solid effective radiated power. The same year QTV Channel 27 was also launched in 2005 which is now current carries GMA News TV in 2011 (later present in 2021 as GTV).
- 2010 - GMA Isabela was upgraded to a "superstation" and it was alternately branded as GMA Cagayan Valley, which primarily covers the province of Isabela, Batanes, Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Kalinga and Apayao. On August 30 of the same year launched its flagship newscast. Balitang Ibanag. GMA Tuguegarao however was not. But it maintains a slot for seperate news updates covering the province of Cagayan, Batanes, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Kalinga, Apayao.
- October 22, 2010 - 2011 - GMA News and Public Affairs Isabela launched Isyu Ngayon Cagayan Valley, a one hour public affairs show the topics and issues around Isabela, Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya.
- January 31, 2011 - GMA Isabela launched its morning show Umaga sa Lambak.
- November 10, 2014 - GMA Cagayan Valley re-launched Balitang Ibanag as 24 Oras Cagayan Valley.
- November 13, 2015 - Umaga sa lambak and 24 Oras Cagayan Valley aired their final episode, following strategic streamlining undertaken on the provincial stations of GMA Network.
- October 8, 2018 - GMA Isabela started digital test broadcasts on UHF Channel 44 covering Santiago City, Ilagan City and the provinces of Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Batanes and Cagayan.
- March 15, 2021 - Balitang Amianan and Mornings with GMA Regional TV began its simulcast on GMA Cagayan Valley began which is composed of TV-7 Isabela, TV-7 Batanes, TV-13 Aparri, TV-7 Tuguegarao and TV-5 Bayombong.
- July 18, 2022 – GMA Cagayan Valley inaugurate its state-of-the-art facilities and studios located at Heritage Complex, Maharlika Hi-way, Brgy. Malvar, Santiago City.
