DWAN TV (also known as DWAN 1206 TV; previously known as DZTV TeleTrese) is a 24/7 Filipino-language teleradio news channel digital television channel owned and operated by Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation. It was launched on September 30, 2013 as a TV version of IBC's flagship AM radio station DZTV Radyo Budyong 1386, until January 12, 2024. It was relaunched on June 20, 2024 as a live streaming channel of DWAN 1206 AM and Channel 17.7 on digital television sub-channel of IBC and available on cable and satellite providers (led by SkyCable channel 28 digital, Cignal channel 27) throughout the Philippines.

DWAN Channel is also simulcasted via IBC News Network International and it can be heard and viewed online via its YouTube channel and IBC Digital.

History[]

As DZTV TeleTrese (2013-2024)[]

Starting December 19, 2016, DZTV TeleTrese will now be available for Cignal subscribers on Channel 19, instead of Channel 14.

Since April 16, 2018, DZTV TeleTrese moved from IBC Digibox Channel 4 to Channel 6.

Simulcast on digital free TV via DWAN Channel (since 2024)[]

On June 20, 2024, the channel was soft-launched and rebranded as DWAN Channel, conducting test transmissions on digital terrestrial television via DZTV-TV subchannel 13.7 in Mega Manila, in time for the launch of DWAN 1206 AM, with test broadcast conducted the previous day. This development signifies the reintroduction of DWAN's "RadyoVision" format on free-to-air television On June 20, 2024, several DWAN 1206 AM programs commenced airing on digital free TV via DWAN Channel, which rebranded itself as part of IBC's digital TV subchannel lineup via channel 17.

On July 1, 2024, DWAN TV, was formally launched by IBC and DWAN 1206 AM as a 24/7 all-Filipino news, public affairs, music, and entertainment channel. Simulcast programs from DWAN 1206 AM, airing daily from 5 AM to 10:30 PM.

Notes

  • all non-encrypted digital terrestrial TV channels broadcast within the area of the household will also be carried.
  • Congress TV, IBC Classics, IBCinema, IBC Kids, DWAN TV and DMZ Channel are encrypted and scrambled with Multi2-based encryption, because of that, thus requiring SMS activation to unscramble those channels.
  • Congress TV, IBC Classics, IBCinema, IBC Kids, DWAN TV and DMZ Channel are their digital channels to IBC Digibox, a digital set-top box marketed by the network.
